Recruiter
Benchmark International is looking for a full-time Recruiter to assist us with our hiring needs. You will be a part of our headquarters’ Central Team based in Tampa, FL and will also service offices throughout the US. The Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing and sifting through applicants, assisting in the interview process, and onboarding.
This position will not be supervised by a full-time recruiting professional. As such, initiative and the ability to work with minimal supervision will be given high priority over formal qualifications. The Recruiter will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop, facilitate, and implement all phases of the recruitment process.
- Collaborate with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
- Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
- Assist with job posting and advertisement processes.
- Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes.
- Screen applicants and assists Hiring Managers in selecting qualified candidates.
- Perform an initial phone screen of qualified candidates.
- Schedule interviews; oversee preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
- Assist with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
- Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the Hiring Managers.
- Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process.
- Collaborate with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
- Attend and participate in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with the highest level of discretion and security.
- Must demonstrate a high level of integrity, trustworthiness, and professionalism in handling confidential data.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. A college degree is preferred.
- Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for a variety of roles.
- Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficient with Social Media portals.
- Attend and participate in college job fairs and recruiting sessions as needed.
- Ability to be creative and think outside the box.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A stable work history is required. A stable work history should consist of no less than two (2) years at a single job.
- Professional business attire is required.
- Ability to work in an office environment as this is not a remote position.
- Ability for minimal travel as needed.
- Willingness to perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands
Moderate physical activity performing somewhat strenuous daily activities of a primarily administrative nature. Includes sitting and/or standing for extended periods of time with the ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items, works with the fingers and perceives attributes of objects and materials.

Compensation commensurate with experience.
