Receiving Coordinator

Horseshoe Bay Resort, a premier lakeside resort nestled in the heart of the Texas Hill Country, is known for its breathtaking views, exceptional accommodations, and world-class amenities. We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and organized Receiving Coordinator to join our team. The Receiving Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods and supplies to maintain the resort’s operations, supporting the culinary, housekeeping, and other departments to provide an outstanding guest experience.

Position Overview:
The Receiving Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing all incoming deliveries, inspecting goods, coordinating inventory management, and ensuring that supplies are accurately tracked and distributed throughout the resort. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be proactive, reliable, and committed to ensuring the efficient operations of the resort’s receiving and inventory systems.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the receiving process for all goods and materials delivered to the resort, ensuring accuracy and quality.

Inspect deliveries for damage, discrepancies, and correct quantities, and ensure items are properly documented.

Coordinate with department heads to verify supply needs and ensure timely delivery of necessary materials and products.

Manage inventory and ensure stock levels are maintained, tracking items to ensure they are properly stored and utilized.

Maintain accurate records of all received goods, including invoices, purchase orders, and delivery logs.

Organize and store products in appropriate areas to ensure easy access and minimize waste or spoilage.

Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental standards for product storage and handling.

Work closely with the accounting department to ensure correct billing and payment for all incoming shipments.

Assist with inventory audits, ensuring that all stock is accounted for and discrepancies are investigated and resolved.

Provide support for special events and seasonal needs, ensuring that the resort has the necessary materials for large functions.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a receiving, inventory, or warehouse position is preferred.

Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with a team.

Basic computer skills, with experience using inventory management software or similar systems.

Ability to lift and move heavy items, as the role may require physical labor.

Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations related to product handling and storage is a plus.

Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.

Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
