Procurement Manager

Procurement Manager:

Purchaser/Planner/Inventory Management
 

Qualifications:
 

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
  • Proficient in inventory management software and ERP systems
  • Strong understanding of BOM structures and inventory management principles

Materials/Parts Procurement:

  • Work closely with production, engineering, and quality assurance teams to align purchasing strategies with operational needs.
  • Communicate with suppliers regarding product specifications, delivery schedules, and any potential issue
  • Procurement Management
  • Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiating pricing, terms, and delivery schedule
  • Issue purchase orders and follow up on deliveries to ensure timely receipt of materials
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in procurement and inventory management

Inventory operations:

  • Monitor inventory levels to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent shortages or excess.
  • Implement and maintain inventory tracking systems to ensure accurate records.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliations

Financial responsibilities:

  • Ability to create, send and track Purchase Orders in ERP System
  • Capable of negotiating terms and managing relationships with numerous Vendors
  • Skills in researching and suggesting new vendors for management approval
  • Tracking orders through to QuickBooks, managing AP for the materials orders
