Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering guest inquiries and addressing concerns or complaints professionally and efficiently
- Process check-ins, check-outs, and reservations using the hotel’s property management system
- Answer phone calls to assist guests, create and modify reservations
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately, following established procedures
- Monitor hotel security, reporting any unusual activity or concerns to management
- Respond to guest calls and requests, coordinating with other departments as needed
- Settle any discrepancies in accounts or folios from the previous day
- Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to provide accurate information to guests
- Communicate effectively with the housekeeping, maintenance, and management teams to ensure smooth operations
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities by selling products or services to groups, understanding client needs, negotiating deals, and managing relationships to drive revenue and growth
- Tracking and reporting on sales performance and progress
- Identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance sales results.
- Working closely with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of group events and bookings
- Collaborating with other sales representatives to achieve overall sales goals
- Plans, organizes, and executes events, ensuring they run smoothly and meet client or organizational objectives by managing logistics, budgets, vendors, and event elements like venue, catering, decor, and entertainment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sales or customer service preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic accounting and cash-handling skills
- Proficiency in using property management systems (PMS), CRM systems, and office software (e.g., Microsoft Office)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexible availability to work day shifts, night shifts, including weekends and holidays
