Summary
Are you a student who loves to work behind the scenes with event production to influence moments that matter? Do you have a passion for event logistics and a knack for strategic thinking? This is the ideal internship for you! As an AV Operations Intern, you will gain practical experience in executing pre-production and post-production for face to face marketing events and learn the various functions of Freeman Audio Visual operations. You will assist with day-to-day preparatory tasks, including creating labor requests, initiating equipment orders, translating information from one source to another, verifying the completion of certain tasks, reporting your findings to the Manager of Implementation, and other duties as assigned within the other functional teams. This internship will provide you with valuable insights into the production of association and corporate events and help you develop essential skills for your future career.
This position will support our Audio Visual & Event Technology team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show site 2-3 days per week. The ideal candidate will be based out of Las Vegas, NV.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Determine if key pre-production elements are complete
- Report the progress of events in Workfront
- Build SRFs
- Build Labor Workbooks
- Build Show Flows
- Build Production Schedules
- Verify if Budgets have been submitted
- Reconcile Invoices
- Data Entry
- Reach out to stakeholders for information needed by the functional teams
