Content Intern

For the past several years, pulsd has been unlocking the magic of New York City for New Yorkers. We have created a marketplace where, on the one side, we have made it more affordable for over 400,000 New Yorkers to discover and experience the most memorable moments of their lives; while on the other side, we empower incredible local businesses, artisans and entrepreneurs.


 

We are looking for a Content Intern to join a small team of highly-skilled professionals whose focus is on bringing more users and businesses onto the pulsd platform. This is a cross functional role that includes writing, social and design.


 

Our current partners include hundreds of local businesses, all the way up to preeminent global brands such as Tao Group, Union Square Hospitality, Zuma New York, Exhale, Skin Spa, Eataly, The Bowery Hotel and many more.


 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in producing content for pulsd across all of our platforms including web, app, and social media covering an audience of 400,000 New Yorkers.
  • Work directly with pulsd’s Content Manager to produce and shoot engaging, lifestyle themed content.
  • Monitor social media channels for customer interactions, comments, and DMs to grow our community.
  • Support Content Manager in planning and executing social media campaigns and promotions.
  • Assist with managing influencer partnerships through sourcing talent and outreach.

 

Requirements:

  • Currently an incoming senior undergraduate student enrolled in university
  • Experience in professional lifestyle writing, editing, & publishing.
  • Familiarity working professionally with social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook) to create engaging content that drives follower growth.
  • Comprehension of standard grammar (AP Style preferred).
  • Excellent attention to detail and self-editing skills.
  • Possess an eye for great photography, and some experience in photography.
