SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:

Exclusively sell and promote McKee Homes, by staffing model homes, following up on leads and contributing to the entire sales process. Help coordinate the home buying experience for McKee Homes’ customers by delivering an incredible and unique customer service. Support New Home Sales Consultants by assisting with events and covering model home hours.


 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Energetic participation in the McKee Homes Intern Program
  • Learn and support compliance with the Team McKee Experience process by assisting the Senior Sales Consultant in continuously engaging our home buying customers and realtor partners.
  • Demonstrate model home, community, area, and builder story.
  • Prepare required paperwork for each home sale and for prospective purchasers,
  • Keep buyers updated as to construction start and completion dates and remain actively involved in the sales process through closing.
  • Communicate properly to the appropriate departments, any customer requests for information or service
  • Complete weekly traffic and other reports as necessary
  • Update CRM and other systems with pertinent information
  • Support New Home Sales Consultants by assisting with events and covering model home hours
  • Some additional sales administrative work may include assisting with home starts, social media, taking photos/videos, and attending weekly update meetings with the Sales Consultant and Builder

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and online systems. This job also operates in a construction site environment. This role is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. This position is performed in outside weather conditions.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

This is a full-time temporary, seasonal position. Days and hours of work are Monday through

Thursday, model home hours.


 

TRAVEL

Regular travel is expected between construction job sites and to and from home office, most

trips under 2 hours. Other locations as directed.

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent 
  • Some progress (1-3 years) in an Associates or Bachelor’s Degree program in Construction
  • Valid Driver’s License because driving is an essential function of  this position


 

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS

  • Valid Driver’s License required
  • Reliable vehicle with minimum state required insurance required
