About the role
We are currently seeking a creative and dynamic Video Content Specialist to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who has a passion for storytelling, content creation, and social media, with a proven track record of creating engaging video content. As a Video Content Specialist, you will play a key role in developing, planning, and producing video content that grows our brand, engages our audience, and increases our visibility on YouTube through weekly videos and shorts. Our company headquarters are in Pittsburgh, PA. Onsite placement for this full-time position is required. What you'll do
- Support the video idea creation process to help enhance content marketing efforts. Plan, script, film, and edit engaging videos that align with our brand's tone and voice
- Utilize storytelling skills to write scripts and content to aid video development and design, articulating product and industry related information
- Set up and film video, including camera, lighting, audio, and directing talent, in alignment with marketing content calendar
- Edit videos, add motion graphic elements, animation, color correction, and audio mastering for distribution on YouTube, ThoroughCare’s website, and other social channels. Collaborate with team members to incorporate feedback and make revisions as needed
- Post video content and manage YouTube channel including uploading content, writing video descriptions, optimizing tags, creating thumbnails, and ensuring consistency in brand voice
- Develop graphics and related imagery to support marketing asset development, social media, and related initiatives
- Identify relevant KPIs across events and evaluate metrics for performance measurement and best practice development
- Track video analytics (views, watch time, subscriber growth, engagement, etc.) and provide reports with actionable insights
- Stay current with YouTube and social media trends to inspire and inform content ideas
- Assist in the review of content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines
- Work with cross-functional teams to align video content with broader marketing initiatives and campaigns
Education
- BA/BS in Marketing, Graphic Design, Film and Media Production, Communications, a related field, or equivalent working experience
Experience
- Minimum of 1-3 years of video production experience specific to content development, motion graphics, animation, and graphic design
Qualifications
- Experience as a YouTube Content Creator, Video Editor, or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work
- Demonstrated proficiency in production, video editing, animation, motion graphics, sound design, and video compression codecs
- Advanced knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Premiere and After Effects
- Experience with YouTube and SEO a plus – including understanding of SEO principles, especially related to YouTube algorithms
- Experience with HubSpot CRM tool a plus
- Healthcare marketing experience a plus
- Excellent verbal, written, and oral communication skills
- Comfortable presenting to and receiving feedback from stakeholders and senior leadership
- Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently, maintain high attention to detail, and meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams
This position is full-time and available immediately.
