Position Summary:

As a Field/Office Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the construction industry, working closely with both field and office teams. This internship provides the opportunity to learn about project management, construction processes, and site operations, all while contributing to the success of complex projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Field Support: Assist field personnel with various tasks such as site visits, documentation, and coordination.
- Office Support: Help with administrative tasks, data entry, filing, and updating project records.
- Project Assistance: Learn about project workflows, timelines, and resource management. Support project managers with scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.
- Collaboration: Work closely with various teams including engineering, project management, and field workers to support project execution.
- Safety: Assist with safety documentation and monitoring of site safety protocols.
- Reporting: Maintain daily logs and support progress tracking on ongoing projects.
- Other Duties: Participate in team meetings, and assist in problem-solving and troubleshooting on active projects.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong interest in the heavy civil construction industry.
- Willingness to work in both office and field settings.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Positive attitude, proactive approach, and a strong desire to learn.
