Job Title: Shoppability Intern

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to support our Shoppable Button team at SideChef. The successful candidate will assist in researching competitor capabilities, configuring and testing our shoppable button product for clients, and contributing to the overall enhancement of our shoppable recipe solutions. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the rapidly evolving field of e-commerce and digital cooking platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Competitor Research:

Conduct thorough research on the capabilities and strategies of competitors in the shoppable recipe space.

Analyze market trends and emerging technologies that could impact SideChef's offerings.

Present findings and insights to the team, highlighting opportunities for differentiation and improvement.

Shoppable Button Configuration and Testing:

Assist in customizing the appearance and functionality of the shoppable button for various client integrations.

Ensure seamless integration of the button into client websites, maintaining brand consistency and user experience.

Perform thorough testing to identify and resolve any technical issues or bugs, including product sponsorship, product availability, and avoiding competitor's products.

Client Support:

Help research and provide assistance in client's questions and issues.

Collaborate with the client success team to ensure high satisfaction rates and successful deployments.

Data Analysis:

Assist in gathering and analyzing data on customer interactions with the shoppable button, focusing on user behavior and purchase patterns.

Contribute to the development of insights that inform marketing strategies and product enhancements.

Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, marketing, and sales, to ensure alignment and effective communication.

Participate in meetings and contribute to discussions on product development and strategy.

Requirements:

Education: Currently enrolled in a degree program related to computer science, marketing, business, or a relevant field.

Technical Skills: Basic understanding of HTML, JavaScript, and web development principles. Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and digital marketing tools is a plus.

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to interpret data and draw actionable conclusions.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Teamwork: Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on teamwork and adaptability.
