Systems Implementation Specialist

Job description

We are looking for a highly skilled Systems Implementation Specialist to drive operational improvements by implementing and optimizing our internal systems. This role requires strong analytical abilities, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a deep operational background. You’ll play a critical role in executing projects that enhance efficiency, streamline processes, and improve overall system functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation of new systems and process improvements across the organization.
  • Utilize advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, macros, data analysis) to manipulate and analyze complex datasets.
  • Leverage coding skills (ideally in Javascript, Python, SQL, or VBA) to automate workflows and improve system integrations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams to identify operational gaps and propose scalable solutions.
  • Troubleshoot system inefficiencies and develop innovative solutions to optimize performance.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and effective execution.
  • Document processes, develop SOPs, and provide training to stakeholders as needed.
  • Work closely with leadership to align system enhancements with business goals.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex operational challenges.
  • Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, pivot tables, macros, and automation).
  • Coding experience in Javascript, Python, SQL, VBA, or other relevant languages (preferred).
  • Background in operations, supply chain, or systems implementation (experience in logistics, 3PL, or tech-enabled operations is a plus).
  • Ability to manage and execute projects independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with various teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience with ERP, WMS, CRM, or other business systems (preferred but not required).
