AI is transforming how service-based businesses operate, and Idyllo is at the forefront of this shift. We’re building the first AI-first estimation and sales platform for small and mid-sized service businesses—starting with painting contractors. Our launch product will turn unstructured data—notes, voice memos, and images—into structured, actionable estimates and automation that drive real business impact.

About the Role
We’re looking for a highly entrepreneurial, ambitious, and adaptable person to help drive business development and operations. This includes building and scaling our core software business, as well as our strategy and facilitation consulting line of business working with Fortune 500 tech leaders, helping them and their teams accelerate through transitions brought on by AI. While the consulting business started to support our software business through its early stages, we increasingly see an opportunity to spin it off as its own enterprise.
This is a unique, hybrid, high-impact role where you’ll work directly with the founder/CEO, with a clear path to take on an expanding, career transforming leadership role quickly. You’ll support customer engagements, help generate new business opportunities, and shape and streamline operations. The role is a mix of strategy, execution, and problem-solving—perfect for someone who thrives in fast-moving, early-stage environments.

What You’ll Do
Business Development & Growth
- Identify, research, and pursue new business opportunities (clients, partnerships, markets).
- Assist in outbound and inbound sales efforts, including outreach, follow-ups, and proposals.
- Help refine and execute go-to-market strategies for both businesses.
- Support customer engagements, including proposals / contracting, content development, etc.,
- Develop compelling pitch decks, presentations, and materials.
Operations & Execution
- Improve and streamline day-to-day business operations.
- Build and refine internal processes, workflows, and tools to increase efficiency.
- Support financial tracking, invoicing, and administrative tasks.
- Help manage contractors, vendors, and key partnerships.
- Drive special projects.
Who You Are

- A strong communicator with excellent writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical and strategic, with a knack for problem-solving and execution.
- A self-starter who thrives in a fast-moving, small-team environment.
- Comfortable working directly with a CEO and being hands-on in multiple areas of the business.
What You Bring
- 2-5 years of experience in business development, strategy, consulting, operations, or a related field.
- Experience in startups, consulting, facilitation, or working with tech companies is a plus.
- Ability to quickly grasp new concepts and industries.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Interest in AI, productivity software, and/or leadership development is a bonus.
