Marketing Intern

Job Summary

Blue Cypress Consulting is looking for a highly detail-oriented and motivated part-time Marketing Intern to support our corporate marketing initiatives this summer. This role is ideal for a student or recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, professional environment.

As a member of our marketing team, you will work closely with the Marketing and Business Development Manager and Senior Marketing Coordinator to support strategic marketing and business development projects. This is a hybrid position, and you will be expected to work both remotely and in the office.

Responsibilities:

· Assist in creating and editing marketing content for our website, social media accounts, and Client Relationship Management database

· Conduct marketing research to support business development and outreach initiatives.

· Support the development of proposals responses and qualification packages

· Ensure all content and data are accurate, well-organized and formatted correctly

Minimum Requirements

· Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Engineering, Planning, or a related field

· Exceptional attention to detail and ability to self-review work for accuracy and completeness

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks with minimal supervision

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

· Experience using Adobe InDesign.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience with Wix websites

· Graphic design experience with Canva

· Interest in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position is not responsible for supervising other employees.

Work Environment

This is a hybrid position (in office/remote). We offer a telecommute option to work once a week from the office, with a minimum of 4 times per month at the office, and the remainder of the time to work from home. If desired, employees may work up to every day in the office instead of at home. During onboarding, new hires may be required to work more frequently in-person at the office with their supervisor. While in the office, the employee will normally work in a temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment. Smoking and vaping shall be prohibited in all enclosed areas within the workplace.
