
Business Development & Growth Sales Intern
Belden’s Sales Internship offers current students an opportunity to work on important business projects, collaborate with experienced managers and deliver real results for the organization. Over the course of twelve weeks, you will gain hands-on experience creating real business solutions while also developing project management skills, interpersonal skills, and field-specific knowledge.
This particular internship opportunity will play a critical role on a team that focuses on identifying and shaping new opportunities that expand Belden's market presence and accelerate solution sales. This team works closely with partners across the value chain to position Belden as the go-to network solutions provider for the industrial world. How you can add value within the Sales - Solutions Growth & Business Development function:
- Conduct targeted research, codify market opportunities, and support the go-to-market strategy Your work will help our team prioritize where to focus, which partners to engage, and how to clearly articulate Belden’s differentiated value proposition.
- Develop hands-on experience to industrial market analysis, strategic sales development, and partner ecosystem research, leveraging latest technology and AI tools. You’ll collaborate closely with the Business Development team and gain real-world experience at the intersection of industrial technology, strategy, and partnerships.

A successful Sales - Business Development & Growth Intern will bring:

- Academic Achievement – you are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, or related fields of study; having completed at least 2 years of undergraduate coursework
- Intellectual Curiosity – we value curiosity, analytical thinking, and self-starters who take initiative and have attention to detail
- Related Experience – you have familiarity utilizing Microsoft Excel and AI research tools such as ChatGPT and Perplexity. Experience with conducting research, process improvement and project management preferred.
