Behavior Technician

Are you interested in a career in behavior analysis, psychology, or related fields? Experience as a behavior technician is a great way to get your foot in the door! Full and part-time positions available.

The Learning Consultants is seeking motivated and committed behavior technicians to join our dynamic and dedicated team of ABA service providers. We provide high-quality training paid and supervision and will help you get your national and state credential. We provide PAID fieldwork experience and an internal career path (including toward non-clinical positions) for qualified individuals pursuing fieldwork experience toward a BCaBA or BCBA. Clinic-based work allows for frequent interactions with your team and supervisors in a highly supportive environment. Full and part-time positions available. Students - we offer the flexibility to adjust hours based on the semester schedule!

Positions available in both our Sparks and South Reno clinics so you can work at the location that is convenient for you.

$100-$500 hIring bonuses available for progress toward registration prior to hire.

Minimum requirements for this position include:

  • Experience with children
  • High school diploma
  • Available a minimum of 15 hours per week during session blocks
  • Willingness to work with individuals who may engage in challenging behavior including aggression and elopement
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs, stand for long durations, move quickly and stay within arms distance of learners, easily rise from a sitting position on the floor to standing

The ideal candidate will have:

  • An RBT credential from the BACB and the State of Nevada Board of Applied Behavior Analysis
  • Experience with children with behavioral challenges and/or learning difficulties
  • Available 20-30 hours per week
  • Progress toward certification as a BCaBA or BCBA
  • Fluent in ASL and/or Spanish
