Camp Counselor - Tri County

As a Camp Counselor with the Y, you will have the opportunity to develop leadership skills, plan and problem solve, and build relationships-all while making lasting memories and having lots of fun. There are opportunities to work up to 40 hours per week and earn a bonus!

As a Day Camp Counselor, you must be able to develop, lead, and actively participate with children in various age-appropriate activities and be able to effectively monitor behavior while using appropriate discipline techniques. This position is responsible for helping to maintain a safe, clean summer program site; ensuring a high level of program quality and working to establish a positive relationship with all program participants and their families.

The Day Camp Counselor will serve as a positive role model to youth and teens within the philosophy of YMCA standards.
