Position: Social Media Marketing Intern
Hours: 10-15 hours/week, flexible schedule.
Location: Los Gatos, CA. Most work can be done remotely but some on-site visits/work will be necessary.
About Ma'alot Farms: Ma'alot Farms is focused on building a better world through sustainable farming, regenerative practices, and community-centered food systems. We're seeking a creative and motivated intern to help grow our digital presence and drive engagement across our platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and create content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and email marketing campaigns
- Develop and implement social media strategy to increase brand awareness
- Track and analyze social media metrics and engagement
- Promote farm activities and events to drive enrollment
- Support private events business through targeted marketing
- Create compelling visual content showcasing farm life, events, and sustainable practices
- Engage with community members across social platforms
- Assist in developing marketing materials for special events
Required Qualifications:
- Current student or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices
- Excellent written and visual communication skills
- Experience with content creation and basic photo/video editing
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently
- Interest in sustainable agriculture and community building
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with email marketing platforms
- Basic graphic design skills
- Photography/videography capabilities
- Analytics and reporting experience
- Knowledge of social media advertising
