Healthcare Analytics Intern - AI

EXL is seeking a Healthcare Analytics Intern to join our EXL team this summer.   As our Healthcare Analytics Intern, you'll have the opportunity to learn more about how analytics is shaping the Healthcare Industry while you work on actual projects that drive our business to the future.   If you are passionate about analytics and the Healthcare industry,  we invite you to join our team.   

Key Responsibilities:

• Help preprocess and organize datasets for deep learning models
• Collaborate with the team to design, implement, and train deep neural networks (e.g., CNNs, RNNs, transformers) for generating embeddings for various tasks, such as text similarity, recommendation systems, or classification.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to gain a fair understanding of domain to aid in model development
• Assist in evaluating the quality and performance of embeddings using various metrics like cosine similarity, clustering, downstream task performance
• Contribute to documenting the modeling process, experimental results, and insights. Assist in preparing reports or presentations to communicate key findings to the team and stakeholders. Oversee the quality audit process for all correspondence to ensure it meets organizational quality standards.

Qualifications:

Required

• Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Healthcare Infomatics,  Analytics or related field.

Preferred

• Gen AI knowledge
• Experience in Neural networks, machine learning and/or deep learning 
• Critical thinking and problem solving.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
