Healthcare Analytics Intern

EXL is seeking a Healthcare Analytics Intern to join our EXL team this summer.   As our Healthcare Analytics Intern, you'll have the opportunity to learn more about how analytics is shaping the Healthcare Industry while you work on actual projects that drive our business to the future.   If you are passionate about analytics and the Healthcare industry,  we invite you to join our team.   

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate in the training, fine-tuning, and evaluation of Large Language Models (LLMs) such as LLAMA, BERT, or other transformer-based architectures for specific NLP tasks (e.g., text generation, classification, summarization).
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to gain a deep understanding of processes, gather valuable feedback, and translate requirements into actionable deliverables for the project.
• Help in evaluating model performance using appropriate metrics (e.g., BLEU, ROUGE, accuracy) and assist in improving model efficiency and scalability.
• Contribute to the documentation of the project, preparing reports or presentations to communicate results and learnings from the work done.

Qualifications:

Required

• Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Healthcare Infomatics, Analytics or related field.

Preferred

• Knowledge and Experience in Gen AI and Large language models
• Critical thinking and problem solving.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
