Part-Time Accounting Department Intern

Our Accounting Department plays a critical role in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our team.  This is a paid internship $20 - $22/hour.  On average 20 hours during the semester and up to 40 hours during breaks from school. 

- Role Description:
o This role will play a critical role in supporting the accounting department by working closely with the Controller. This role involves a variety of tasks from reviewing monthly credit card reports to general ledger reviews, providing essential assistance to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial operations. Also helps property accountants with daily tasks to help manage their accounts. This role is designed for flexibility to accommodate the schedules of college students, which offers valuable hands-on experience in financial management within a dynamic environment.

- Key Responsibilities:
o Credit Card Report Review
o General Ledger Review
o Journal entries for certain transactions
o Support for Controller
o Property Accountant Support
o Flexibility and Adaptability
- Qualifications:
o Currently enrolled in a college or university, preferably in Accounting or Finance.
o Basic understanding of accounting principles, Principles to Accounting courses
o Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office
o Great communication skills
o Flexible schedule to accommodate academic commitments
o Bilingual Spanish Company, where strong Spanish is a great qualification
o College to career advancement
