
Executive Host
General Definition: Under the direction of the Player Development Manager, the Executive Host builds and maintains relationships with targeted guests through personal contact by phone and in person in order to generate incremental gaming revenues.
Essential Job Functions:
- Expand and establish player database by creating special guest functions, services, and activities.
- Responsible for ensuring successful execution of assigned VIP events and promotions (on and off property).
- Communicate and develop close relationships with departmental managers and community leaders by acting as a liaison between the guest and the facility.
- Generate casino revenue through development of VIP accounts while maximizing existing revenue streams utilizing our active databases and implementing creative marketing programs to draw new to property VIP guests.
- Build loyalty among valued VIP customers by developing relationships, effectively utilizing marketing, and upscale sales techniques.
- Maintain relationships with VIP guests through personal contact by phone, email, text, and in person on a quarterly basis to maximize gaming revenue goals established by the management team.
- Maintain an assigned group of players on a quarterly basis.
Identify and greet VIP customers on the floor, off property and via referrals to grow the database. - Partner strategically with vendors to coordinate set-up, décor, catering, etc., for VIP events and promotions.
- Assist Sr. Manager of Marketing in the development of incentive programs, special events and marketing programs.
- Communicate and collaborate with all operating departments and vendors to ensure proper execution of all promotions and events.
- Resolve customer disputes concerning Club card point reward system and complimentary amenities, according to established guidelines.
- Effectively handle customer complaints and discrepancies in an efficient and courteous manner.
- Update staff on all upcoming events and casino programs.
- Coordinate and disseminate information to facility and patrons on upcoming events; via e-mail, customer mailings, and use of casino-based management system.
- Assist Sr. Marketing Manager in determining procedures regarding patron comps and establishing pricing structure for amenities; including but not limited to direct billing accounts and procedures in compliance with MICs and TICs.
- Work with casino and marketing teams to generate pre and post event analysis.
- Assis Sr. Marketing Manager in evaluating programs for profitability and patron satisfaction.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or other related field preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must present professional image of excitement, enthusiasm, and outgoing personality while being able to project a professional image Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills, team building, and problem solving skills Ability to deliver a service level which creates an atmosphere that makes our Guests want to return, giving each Guest a positive, memorable entertainment experience Ability to effectively establish and maintain rapport with all levels of VIPs, personnel, management and guests
Must be able to read, understand, apply, and retain knowledge of departmental rules, regulations, and policies
Must have strong problem solving and analytical skills
Must be able to work in fast paced hands-on environment
Must have basic math skills in order to perform assigned job duties correctly Must be computer literate and proficient with MS Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook
Must be able to review and comprehend player-tracking screens, reports, and all other necessary information and documentation
Ability to network and establish relationships with prospective guests and groups who display and demonstrate potential gaming value
Ability to understand the application of MICs and TICs regulations Must be able and willing to work any shift and long hours when necessary, including the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Must be able to pass Title 31Training
Must be able to work in a smoke filled casino environment
Training and Experience:
Two (2) years applicable knowledge of casino games, telemarketing and casino patron sales techniques or outside sales experience Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Player Development at the Executive Host level or above is preferred
