Marketing & Communications Coordinator

osition Title: Marketing & Communications Coordinator (Part-Time)
Organization: EO Idaho (Entrepreneurs’ Organization – Idaho Chapter)
Hours: 5–10 hours per week
Location: Remote (with occasional in-person events in Idaho)
Compensation: Hourly, DOE

Overview:
EO Idaho is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Marketing & Communications Coordinator to support and enhance the visibility, branding, and communications of our dynamic community of entrepreneurs. This part-time role is perfect for a proactive individual who thrives in a flexible work environment and is excited about contributing to a vibrant, purpose-driven organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Website Management & Revamp

Lead and implement a refresh of the EO Idaho website to better reflect the chapter's brand, events, and member experience

Maintain and update the website on an ongoing basis (events, content, photos, etc.)

Marketing & Communications

Design and execute email marketing campaigns for events, announcements, and newsletters

Write engaging, on-brand copy for member communications, social media, and event promotions

Collaborate with EO Idaho leadership and event chairs to understand messaging priorities

Develop and maintain a consistent brand voice across all platforms

Social Media Management

Create, schedule, and publish content on EO Idaho’s social media channels (Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)

Monitor engagement and respond to member inquiries or comments as appropriate

Help build a content calendar that highlights chapter events, member spotlights, and EO values

Event Promotion Support

Support chapter events by creating marketing assets such as flyers, event blurbs, social posts, and reminder emails

Ensure event information is communicated in a timely and professional manner across channels

Qualifications:

Experience in marketing, communications, or related field

Strong writing and editing skills

Proficiency with website platforms (e.g., WordPress, Squarespace, or similar)

Familiarity with email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact)

Basic graphic design skills (Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus)

Social media experience (posting, engagement, analytics)

Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects at once

Self-motivated, responsive, and able to work independently

Bonus If You Have:

Experience working with nonprofits or membership-based organizations

Familiarity with EO (Entrepreneurs’ Organization) or other entrepreneurial communities
