We seek enthusiastic and driven candidates to join our competitive Business Development Training Program. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in sales and learn from experienced professionals. We provide the tools and training for learning the ins and outs of licensing data and solutions to businesses.
In this approximate 6-month training role, you will be exposed to various roles in each company facet, gaining experience in marketing databases, B2B sales to small, medium, and enterprise companies customer service and account management, product and solution selling skills and more!
The ideal candidate is proactive and detail-oriented, exemplifies stellar time management and communication skills, and is excited to be empowered and involved in business goals and initiatives. This role is intended to provide the tools and training for being a successful Business Development Executive that can find and nurture new opportunities.

We are hiring new candidates for our competitive Business Development trainee program, to engage with mid-market companies across the country to help them grow their revenues. The Business Development Associate (BDA) role provides the foundation of company and product knowledge, understanding the market and market positioning, and building the skills to prospect, conduct needs assessment meetings, develop scope of work documents, and be involved in establishing contracts with clients. These are the building blocks to becoming an enterprise level Account Executive.
Your Responsibilities
- Engage and educate the prospects on the benefits of using DatabaseUSA services and platforms as a business tool for marketing and sales due diligence to increase revenues.
- Prospect new business clients and approach potential customers through a targeted sales strategy via calls, emails, texts, social media, marketing sequences, and persona visits.
- Schedule quality platform demos with top-tier prospects through consistent and creative outreach.
- Assist our Account Executives in demo preparation, relationship building, pricing proposals, and closing new business revenue.

Job Overview and Paths for Growth
Business Development Associate
- You will work and develop under our VP of Sales and a team of elite Account Executives in an accelerated program to master our consultative sales process.
- Candidates will work hard to achieve well-defined monthly KPI’s and earn individual and team-based commissions based on efforts and results.
- There will be extensive training and clear metrics to allow each teammate to measure how they are stacking up against expectations and goals.
Account Executive
- Successful candidates will be promoted to an Account Executive role, where they will be responsible for the full-process selling of DatabaseUSA Software and Services.
- Account Executives will be responsible for hitting monthly quotas and building a book of business. Each AE will help manage their BDA and will reap the financial benefits of closing their own software deals.
- Account Executives will continue to schedule needs assessment calls and software platform demos. Under the guidance of their team lead, AE’s will educate their business prospects on the value of DatabaseUSA data, services, and software as they gather the necessary information to draft and send a Scope of Work and Pricing Proposals for review.
- Upon the successful completion of each license, AE’s will work with our Customer Success team to ensure a seamless handoff for each client so they can begin using DatabaseUSA data, software, and services to build out their sales and marketing programs.
