Position Overview:
The Customer Service Associate (CSA) plays a vital role in delivering exceptional support to clients in the property and casualty insurance sector. This position involves assisting with a wide range of customer inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate handling of policy updates, account management, and providing outstanding service. As a CSA, you will collaborate with other team members to meet client needs, support policy changes, and maintain strong client relationships. While no insurance license is required, you will work closely with licensed representatives and insurance providers to deliver accurate and efficient service.
Key responsibilities include managing customer communications, processing policy changes, preparing insurance documentation, and ensuring that all inquiries are addressed promptly. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, ensuring all clients receive the best possible service.

Key Responsibilities:
- Data Entry & Policy Management: Accurately enter and update customer policies and accounts in the company's client management software system.
- Collaborative Support: Work closely with fellow Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) to ensure a seamless, positive experience for clients.
- Client Communication: Handle incoming phone calls and emails, responding to all inquiries within 24 business hours to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Inquiry Resolution: Manage and resolve multiple customer inquiries, documenting requests and making policy changes as needed.
- Research & Response: Provide prompt, accurate responses to client inquiries by researching information and consulting with insurance providers if necessary.
- Policy Changes & Coordination: Communicate with insurance providers to process policy updates in line with customer services protocol or client requests.
- Client Follow-Up: Ensure clients are kept informed by updating them on policy changes and providing timely follow-ups regarding their insurance needs.
- Document Preparation: Assist in preparing proposals, quotations, and binding paperwork for the Customer Services Representative team.
- Account Monitoring: Maintain and monitor active client accounts, conducting regular check-ins to ensure all insurance needs are met.
- Coverage Verification: Verify coverage details for clients and confirm policy changes, providing proof of insurance documents as necessary, especially for clients whose coverage was bound by a licensed representative.
Qualifications:
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or a related field.
- Bilingual: Preferably fluent in Mandarin Chinese
- Customer Service Experience: Previous experience as a customer service representative is a plus.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, both written and verbal.
- Attention to Detail: Highly detail-oriented with a proactive approach and the ability to follow through on tasks.
- Multi-tasking Ability: Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Self-Motivated & Organized: Hardworking with strong organizational and time management skills to handle competing demands.
- Confidentiality & Discretion: Trustworthy and able to maintain discretion when handling sensitive client information.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to think critically and resolve issues efficiently.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in PC operations and familiar with common office software. Experience with client management systems (ex: Applied Epic, TAM) is plus.

Compensation:
The base salary range for this position is currently targeted between $22.00 to $26.00 per hour.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a few factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
