Harvest Assistant
A locally owned farming operation, widely known for the production of premium quality agricultural products, in Yamhill County is looking to hire a Harvest Assistant. To be successful in the position, you should be a person who is energetic, reliable, well-organized, and professional. The farming industry requires an ideal person to be flexible and deal well with ambiguity, constant re-prioritization of the day, and the ability to think quickly and creatively. Must have reliable transportation to the Dayton location.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate and organized records for harvest-related business
• Follow intra-office communication protocols
• Timely processing of manifest and assigned data entry tasks
• General office support to all executives, managers, and employees as needed
• Run errands on occasion
• Assist in documenting harvest activities, including capturing new media

Qualifications:
• Moderate proficiency in Microsoft OS and suite of tools
• Excellent attention to detail
• Highly organized with a strong sense of timeliness and prioritization
• Proficient verbal and written communication in English – bilingual in Spanish preferred

• Deals well with ambiguity and re-shifting of priorities
• Ability to handle situations with professionalism and tact
• Reliability and consistency with regard to attendance

Schedule:
This is a full-time seasonal job averaging 30-40 hours with a tentative mid-June start date. Employees will work a set schedule as mutually agreed upon with their manager. 75% of work will be office-based, with 25% being field-based.
