Opportunity
Due to our continued growth and success, we are excited to launch our Summer 2025 Internship Program for talented, motivated, and intellectually curious accounting students looking to gain valuable professional experience in public accounting.
Program Overview
Join us for a dynamic 12-week paid internship designed to transform your academic knowledge into practical expertise. Working directly with our CPAs and experienced accounting professionals, you'll engage in meaningful client work across multiple service areas including:
- Audit and attestation services
- Tax preparation and planning
- Management accounting
- Financial analysis and reporting
- Client consulting projects
Your Responsibilities
- Rotate through our audit and tax divisions to gain comprehensive exposure to public accounting
- Assist with client engagements under the guidance of experienced professionals
- Contribute to the preparation of financial statements and tax returns
- Participate in client meetings and presentations (when appropriate)
- Research accounting, tax, and business issues
- Complete a designated business-focused project that addresses real firm challenges
- Provide innovative ideas to improve our service delivery and internal processes
- Learn and become proficient in industry-standard accounting software and tools
Qualifications
Education
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Accounting, with a completion date of December 2025 or later
- Completed (or currently enrolled in) intermediate accounting and taxation coursework
- Coursework in Auditing, Financial Statement Analysis, and Financial Management is highly desirable
- Minimum GPA of 3.2
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with accounting software is a plus
- Strong analytical and quantitative abilities

Program Details
- Duration: Late May through mid-August 2025 (12 weeks)
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (40 hours/week)
- Location: Somerville office (there currently no hybrid work opportunities)
- Compensation: Starting at $20.00 - $25.00/hour, based on qualifications and experience
