Agricultural Marketing and Digital Communications Intern

 Paid Summer Internship in Yamhill County

Creekside Valley Farms is a locally owned farming operation in Yamhill County known for the production of premium-quality agricultural products. CVF is looking to hire an Agricultural Marketing and Digital Communications enthusiast for a seasonal position. This person will work closely with the admin and operations team to capture new media, assemble advertisements, and publish updates to the company’s existing media platforms. Applicants are required to submit a work sample that showcases their knowledge and skills in relation to Marketing and Digital Communications. 

Responsibilities:

• Capture videos and images of all farming operations 

• Visit farms to capture images of all stages of the harvest cycle

• Contribute toward the updating of current media platforms like Website, Instagram, Facebook, Instagram TikTok etc.

• Curate a library of “ready to publish” media post 

• Assist in the design and ordering of materials for agricultural shows  

• Give weekly progress report to Managers  

This is a brief description of responsibilities and may be subject to change or modification in order to improve efficiency. 

Schedule and Compensation:

Seeking a flexible part-time (20-30 hours) candidate who can work 2-5 days a week, July and August, and part of September 2025. Candidates are welcome to start sooner and extend their employment beyond the advertised timeline to fit their schedule. This position starts at $20/hour with the opportunity to advance if so desired. 

Qualifications:

• Proficient verbal and written communication skills, bilingual in English/Spanish preferred

• Basic computer skills, MS Office preferred

• Must have a valid driver's license

• Basic knowledge of digital communication platforms 

• Background in capturing photos/videos as well as editing 

• Have a basic understanding of agricultural operations 

• Strict adherence to high safety standards

• Be 18 or over by the start of employment

• Creativity  

• Self-motivated and able to see a task or project to completion

• Reliability and consistency with regard to attendance

• Ability to work early morning or late evening to capture essential media pertaining to harvesting practices 

• Demonstrated common-sense approach in situations 

• Willingness to learn new tasks and skills and take direction from multiple leaders
