The Better Business Bureau of MN and ND is currently seeking a motivated Graphic Design Intern.

As a Graphic Design Intern, you’ll get to experience real day-to-day work in your field of study, participate in cross-departmental development opportunities, and be networked with some of the largest brands in the region.
Position Summary:
The Graphic Design Intern role will work closely with and report to our Graphic Designer to assist in creating graphics for a range of different projects, including social media graphics, website design elements, and print materials, all of which are used to help promote the BBB Mission, Vision and Services provided to businesses and consumers.
Responsibilities include:
• Assist in the design and development of layouts for marketing materials, using appealing graphics that are well organized
• Assist in PowerPoint presentations for Department Head leaders
• Contribute to the creation of mock-ups, digital campaigns, and social media content
• Perform retouching and manipulation of images
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to share new design perspectives and ideas
• Handle graphic projects from start to finish
• Develop and maintain image library files
Requirements:
• Familiarity with Adobe Suite (such as Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator)
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office, with demonstrated capability in Word, Excel, PPT, Zoom, Teams and Outlook. BBB will help to teach our interns if needed.
• Strong creative skills
• Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics
• A portfolio, or samples of work, of previous graphic design projects
• Demonstrated ability to effectively interact and collaborate with a wide range of individuals.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new responsibilities.
• Effective planning, organizational and detail-orientated skills – ability to prioritize multiple projects and adjust workload accordingly.
• Must take initiative, be self-motivated and an independent, accountable, dependable performer.
• Bi-lingual skills a plus!

Schedule/Work Location/ Pay
• We’re looking for the Graphic Design intern to work approximately 15-20 hours per week. BBB will work with interns to determine days and hours.
• This internship role is in-office, and located at our Burnsville Office: 220 S. River Ridge Circle, Burnsville, MN
• The pay for this internship position is $17.00/ hour.
• The internship program starts Wednesday, May 28th and lasts to Friday, August 29th, 2025. BBB will be flexible on your start and end date if needed.
