Electrical Engineering Intern
Point One Design Ltd. is an Ohio based mechanical and electrical consulting engineering firm with offices in North Royalton and Columbus established in 1993.
We are seeking motivated electrical engineering students for our Summer Internship Program to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with a mentor on a diverse range of projects from retail, to restaurants, office spaces and beyond.
- Assist with the design, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and components.
- Conduct research and data analysis to support engineering projects.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to develop technical solutions.
- Support project management tasks, including report preparation and presentations.
- Becoming familiar with and preparing general and electrical specifications.
Skills & Abilities:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with technical computer skills including Revit, AutoCAD, Word and Excel
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
