Position Overview

Palante Nonprofits is seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Technical Assistant Internship to support our team in streamlining digital workflows and managing day-to-day tech-related tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for a university student to gain hands-on experience in business operations, automation tools, and workplace technologies. The ideal candidate is curious, eager to learn, and excited to help improve efficiency using platforms like Google Workspace, Zapier, or Monday.com.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with setting up and maintaining workflows in platforms such as Zapier or Monday.com

     
  • Organize and maintain files, forms, and documentation using Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, etc.)

     
  • Support team members with basic troubleshooting and technical tasks

     
  • Help document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for digital processes

     
  • Conduct research on digital tools and suggest improvements or new tools to increase efficiency

     
  • Provide administrative support as needed in digital project management

     

 

 

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Current university student (undergraduate or graduate level)

     
  • Comfortable using Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, Drive, Gmail, etc.)

     
  • Exposure to or interest in learning tools like Zapier, Monday.com, or similar workflow/automation platforms

     
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

     
  • Excellent communication and time management abilities

     
  • Demonstrated interest in tech, operations, or digital systems

     
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently or with a team
