Assistant Director of Student Employment

The division of Student Affairs is encouraging applications for the Assistant Director of Student employment position! The Assistant Director for Student Employment will develop and lead a comprehensive vision for student employment, ensuring it meets the needs of approximately 7,500 students working on-campus annually and prepares them for the 21st-century workforce. This role involves establishing and overseeing a comprehensive strategy that ensures equitable access to high-impact on-campus job opportunities and maintaining a dedication to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

There are 3 additional areas of responsibility: campus partnerships, supervision and leadership. This position will be the main point of contact between Career Services and Financial Aid, with additional working partnerships with Student Affairs Communications and Campus Human Resources. This role will serve on the Career Services’ Leadership Team, oversee a department committee, manage the departmental budget for student employees, and supervise a professional staff member. The Assistant Director will represent CU Student Employment at various conferences and actively participate in the National Student Employment Association.
