Job Summary:

Lendz Financial is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Mortgage Operations Associate to join our growing team. This full-time, remote and entry-level role is ideal for someone looking to begin their career in the mortgage industry with the opportunity for growth. As a Mortgage Operations Associate, you will be responsible for assisting Account Managers with a variety of key tasks to ensure a seamless mortgage process from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

  • Fraudguard: Assist in the processing of Fraudguard checks to help identify and mitigate risks associated with loan applications.
  • SSA89 Verification: Conduct accurate SSA89 verifications to ensure borrower information matches Social Security records.
  • ACH Verification: Support ACH verification processes to confirm secure and correct transactions.
  • Contact Consent Form Verification: Ensure that all required contact consent forms are properly verified and processed.
  • 4506C Form Processing: Complete 4506C forms as part of the documentation process, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Appraisal Orders: Manage and track appraisal orders, ensuring they are placed and processed efficiently to keep the loan moving forward.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers to review and address loan conditions, documents, and inquiries.
  • Support the team by maintaining accurate and organized documentation and records for loans in progress.
  • Communicate with internal teams to resolve any issues that may arise during the loan process, ensuring smooth workflow and timely progression.
  • Provide exceptional service by maintaining a positive and proactive attitude when working with brokers, borrowers, and vendors.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience or interest in the mortgage industry is preferred but not required.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with mortgage documentation and verification processes is a plus, but we are open to training the right candidate.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Compensation:

The approximate compensation range for this position is $45,000 to $55,000 in annual salary. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package, will be determined based on factors including the candidate’s experience, skills, and location.
