We provide innovative, customized supply chain solutions and third-party logistics to some of the world’s most well-known and successful companies.
We are currently recruiting for a Graphic Design Intern at the DHL Supply Chain North American Headquarters in Westerville, OH as part of our Summer Internship Program. This program is designed to enhance students’ business acumen through hands-on experience, networking, and professional development opportunities.
Throughout the summer, interns have the opportunity to:
- Participate in a series of webinars that focus on professional networking, communication, and presentation skills.
- Listen and ask questions to our executives through our Executive Speaker Series.
- Collaborate with other interns across the U.S. and Canada on a Capstone Project focused on improving various aspects of our business for our customers.
- Present their Capstone Project to leadership teams at the Intern Capstone Event, hosted at our headquarters at the end of summer.
- Network with other interns and business leaders across all regions and business segments within the organization.
Primary Purpose of the Role:
The Graphic Design Intern will play a key role in auditing, refining, and elevating our internal graphics library—a resource that serves over 540 sites across North America. This portal, designed for our operational teams to order branded materials, has evolved into a catch-all for safety, HR, operations, and corporate branding materials, ranging from global-award-winning campaigns to outdated content with old logos.
This intern will take ownership of auditing and updating this critical library, ensuring all materials are brand-compliant, visually strong, and relevant to today’s business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a full audit of our internal ordering portal to identify outdated, missing, or misaligned materials.
- Refine, redesign, and update assets to meet brand standards and improve visual impact.
- Work closely with the Creative Director, Internal Communications Team, HR, Safety, Operations, and Marketing to align materials with business needs.
- Provide guidance on improving the structure and usability of the content library for easier access.
- Utilize Adobe Creative Suite (Canva experience a plus) to refresh and enhance key graphics.
- (Optional but valuable) Contribute photography skills where applicable to strengthen visual storytelling.
What You’ll Gain:
- Hands-on experience with a global leader in supply chain solutions.
- The opportunity to own a high-impact project that directly influences branding across hundreds of locations.
- Exposure to multiple business functions and experience in a fast-paced corporate environment.
- The chance to leave your mark on a widely used internal platform that affects thousands of associates.
