Global Communications Specialist

POSITION DUTIES: Support and develop elite players, including players in P-1 status. Represent the team, plan, organize and execute scouting trips; develop a network of scouts and intel personnel, and perform other duties in the areas of training, scouting, recruiting and player tryouts. Work with the Head Coach and scouting staff on all aspects of Atlanta United FC's MLS team and make suggestions and evaluations regarding player personnel, including P-1 athletes. Work to ensure that the Atlanta United FC Technical Staff develop methods for player analysis that will consistently satisfy the needs of our team. Represent the club in meetings and public appearances, and perform additional related duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS: Must have at least 4 years of experience working for sports news outlets covering international soccer events. Must also have experience working for sports organizations monitoring media reports on the global soccer transfer market, as well analyzing and making recommendations to technical staff on players of interest. Tactical knowledge of soccer is required. 30% International and domestic travel required.
