Food service Sales Coordinator

Tulkoff Food Products is a dynamic and rapidly growing private equity-backed portfolio company within the food industry. As we navigate a period of expansion and strategic initiatives, we are seeking a seasoned Sales Coordinator to join our team and contribute to the company's success.

The primary role of the Foodservice Sales Coordinator is to manage the day-to-day operations of foodservice relationships, ensuring seamless communication and customer satisfaction.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

The duties for this position include, but are not limited to the following:

 

  • Manage and nurture relationships with foodservice distributors, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and alignment with business goals.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for all foodservice accounts, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing product information and support.
  • Monitor account performance and provide insights to identify growth opportunities or address challenges.
  • Generate, analyze and present sales reports for monthly sales meetings.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including customer service, pricing and contracts and marketing to ensure smooth operations.
  • Evaluate and complete allowance requests.
  • Reply to and track all distributor sample requests for products.
  • Negotiate yearly marketing agreements and ensure contracts are completed on time.
  • Potential travel to customers’ facilities providing them with sales support as required to secure and maintain business.
  • Represent the company at tradeshows.
  • Be informed of market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales; share information with customers as part of value-added services provided.

 

To be eligible for this position, candidates should meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or account management, preferably within the foodservice or food manufacturing industry.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM or ERP systems is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, proactive and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
