Marketing Intern

Role Title: Marketing Intern

Key Responsibilities: 

Branding and Content Update

  • Help coordinate marketing content priorities for updating to new branding
  • Using Adobe Creative Suite (or other programs, like PowerPoint and where source files were created) to assist in updating existing marketing and sales collateral to new branding.
  • Assist in updating website copy and content to prepare for new website developing.
  • Assist in coordinating getting updated marketing and sales collateral through the document control process.

Digital Marketing

  • Assist in developing social media campaigns to drive awareness and engagement.
  • Based on research on social media trends, competitor activities and audience insight, develop a new digital marketing campaign to increase awareness and engagement.
  • Assist in updating marketing automation campaigns using Zoho.

 

Learning Goals: 

By the end of the internship, the intern will:

  1. Gain practical experience in supporting a company’s rebrand.
  2. Understand the importance of brand consistency across digital and print assets.
  3. Enhance experience in digital and print design.
  4. Become familiar with document control review and approval process.
  5. Build a digital marketing campaign
  6. Strengthen project management collaboration skills

    • Deliver a final presentation showcasing work and insights
    • Experience in digital marketing, branding, or content creation. Portfolio or work samples requested.

Expected Deliverables: 

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in marketing, communications or a related field.
  • Experience or interest in healthcare marketing is a plus.

 

 

 

Project Descriptions:

  • Project Name & Objective: Rebranding and Digital Marketing Update

The Marketing Intern will support the rollout of Minerva Surgical’s rebrand by assisting with the prioritization and updating of marketing materials, digital assets and communication channels. This role will focus on maintaining brand consistency, enhancing digital engagement and ensuring that all marketing materials align with the new visual and messaging standards. Through this internship, the candidate will gain practical experience in rebranding execution, digital marketing strategies and content updates within the medical device industry. 

  • Scope of Work: 

The intern will contribute to the rebranding process by:

  • Identifying and prioritizing marketing materials that need to be updated.
  • Assisting in updating content and digital assets to reflect the new brand.
  • Helping manage the review and submission of updated content into the company’s document control process. 
  • Build a new digital marketing campaign using social media and marketing automation.
    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, especially in a remote setting.
    • Digital media and design skills, including basic proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint, Word and Excel
    • Attention to detail and a strong eye for design consistency, formatting and visual hierarchy to ensure all materials maintain a polished, professional appearance. 
    • Experience with social media platforms, digital marketing principles and email marketing tools.
    • Adaptability and collaboration, including being flexible with change in  direction/priorities, open to feedback, and working well with marketing and other teams.
    • Ability to work remotely with minimal supervision while staying proactive and engaged in projects.
  • Skills Needed: 

 

Mentorship: Marketing Director will lead, guide and provide feedback.

Timeline: 12 Weeks

  1. Develop Rebrand Priority Plan (Week 1-2)
  2. Update and Refresh High-Priority Collateral (Week 3-6)
  3. Document Control Submission (Week 6-8)
  4. Support Digital Marketing Campaign Development (Week 8-10)
  5. Final Presentation and Wrap-Up (Week 10-12)
