League Operations Coordinator - American Lacrosse League
Role Overview
The League Operations Coordinator will assist with the day-to-day operations of the American Lacrosse League. You'll help manage logistics, schedules, rosters, and communication across all teams, working directly with league leadership and team staff to ensure smooth execution throughout the season.
This is a perfect role for someone passionate about sports management, operations, and live events—especially if you’re looking for hands-on experience in a fast-paced, startup-like environment where you’ll have a direct impact on the success of the league.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate league-wide scheduling, including games, travel, and playoff logistics
- Maintain accurate rosters, registration status, and eligibility tracking for all teams
- Assist with venue and referee coordination in partnership with team managers
- Support execution of game days, including setup, signage, equipment, and vendor coordination
- Ensure player compliance with league policies and assist with onboarding new players
- Collaborate with marketing and media teams to ensure alignment on content and promotional efforts
- Maintain internal documents and systems for league operations and communication
- Jump in to help wherever needed—this is a start-up environment, and every day is different
What We’re Looking For
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Interest in sports, especially lacrosse (prior knowledge helpful but not required)
- Comfort with Google Workspace, Excel/Sheets, and basic project management tools
- Previous experience in team management, event planning, or sports ops a plus
- Available evenings and weekends during the summer season (May–August)
