Financial Advisory Intern (Summer 2025)

Are you a college rising senior finance/business/economic student that is interested in learning more about becoming a niche financial advisor while blending personal and business advisory services? If that’s the case, our firm has a unique, comprehensive internship unlike any other.

Four Quadrants Advisory Companies, the nation’s foremost financial advisory company for the dental industry, is hiring a Financial Advisory Intern (full or part-time basis) for Summer 2025 to add to our cutting-edge team. As part of our rapidly growing, fast paced company, you will be provided the opportunity to experience various aspects of personal and business financial advisory services including financial plan creation, new client onboarding projects, business forecast creation, investment research, client meetings, banking relations, and much more for our entrepreneurial dental clients. This is a paid position meant to identify an individual looking to gain experience in the niche financial advisory field and gain the skills necessary to ultimately become a full time employee upon graduation.

Financial Advisory Intern Traits

  • Understands key concepts of finance, investing, and forecasting
  • Self starter who does not need to be micro-managed/ability to work independently
  • Very organized and detail oriented
  • Task and deadline driven
  • Ability to prioritize and/or seek assistance in determining task priority
  • Team player willing to take initiative and help when needed
  • Comfortable working in a primarily paperless environment
  • Excellent time management skills needed

Duties and Responsibilities include

  • Inputting financial plans into financial planning software
  • Assist in business forecast preparation
  • Organization of client files for analytical team
  • Assist in investment research & reporting
  • Assist in on-boarding new clients
  • Track client implementation & communicate proactively with appropriate parties
  • Being part of select annual client meetings

Requirements

  • Rising senior or recent graduate student ideally in business, finance, or economics
  • 3.0 GPA or higher
  • Interest in financial advisory & plans to pursue a CFP is highly coveted
  • Excel experience preferred
  • Mac experience preferred
  • Multitasking ability necessary
  • Professional appearance a must (business professional when clients in office)
  • Must have a desire to work in a youthful, fast-paced work environment and unique corporate culture
  • Must be willing to work on site, this is not a remote position
