Marketing Coordinator
Job Title: Marketing Coordinator (Contract)
Full-time, 40 hours/week
Contract role expected to run through end of year (minimum 12–15 weeks)
On-site required in Lexington, KY; minimal remote flexibility
Travel required for select events (Las Vegas, High Point, etc.)
Job Summary:
The Marketing Coordinator will support the execution of creative and retail-based marketing projects during a maternity leave coverage period. This role is project-focused, ensuring timely delivery of materials and execution of logistics related to marketing events, retail installations, and campaign deliverables. While currently a contract position, there is potential for long-term opportunity based on performance and evolving team structure.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate marketing projects from intake through final delivery, ensuring deadlines are met.
Work closely with creative designers to ensure project timelines and deliverables stay on track.
Support logistics for major market events, including material orders, catering coordination, and on-site setup.
Maintain and update project timelines, primarily using Excel or similar tools.
Communicate with vendors to place and track orders, ensuring on-time delivery of custom marketing materials.
Assist with budget tracking and invoice processing.
Collaborate cross-functionally with creative, retail, and marketing leadership to push initiatives forward.
Travel to support event execution (e.g., Las Vegas market in July and other potential events).
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
1-2+ years of experience in marketing coordination, event management, or project support roles.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Self-starter with a high sense of urgency and ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with creative project workflows is a plus.
Understanding of creative production processes, including basic knowledge of design, printing, and substrates, is helpful but can be taught.
Willingness and ability to travel (approx. 3 weeks/year).
Availability to work on-site full-time, with occasional flexibility as needed.
