This is the ideal internship for you!  As an Audio Visual and Event Technology Intern at Freeman, you'll learn from the best in the business and make a real impact on our clients' events. As an Lighting Assist Intern you will assist the Lighting Director with installing, testing, and dismantling the lighting system.

This position will support our Audio Visual & Event Technology team.  It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show site 2-3 days per week. The ideal candidate will be based out of: Dallas, TX.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading trucks.
• Transporting equipment from truck to and from their assigned area[s]. 
• Running cable
• Assisting with building truss and attaching lighting fixtures.
• Assisting with testing and troubleshooting. 
• Serving as a utility during rehearsals and performances.

Education & Experience

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in audio visual production or related field.
