Our Business Area Roof is the global market leader for sunroofs, panoramic roofs, and convertible roofs, offering roof solutions with true added value. Start date of this internship position is around May 2025 for the duration of up to 6 months. 

You can look forward to these exciting tasks:

  • Support engineer’s daily tasks: design, develop and maintain robust, cost-efficient manufacturing equipment and processes consistent with lean manufacturing practices
  • Understand all assigned process and test requirements including the capability of processes and equipment
  • Perform root cause and failure analysis as required
  • Apply lean manufacturing techniques to processes
  • Plan and execute time studies and line balances
  • Develop and update standard manufacturing work instructions
  • Analyze work centers and implement safety and process improvements
  • Demonstrate ability to understand sources of variation and identify impact of tolerance stack ups in assemblies by applying Six Sigma design and development strategies
  • Develop and conduct experiments as instructed by engineering
