Bilingual Human Resources & Accounting Assistant

White Plains Linen | LINENS a la Carte is the leading supplier of fine linens for restaurants and caterers in the tri-state area.

 

We are seeking a bilingual Human Resources (HR) / Accounting Assistant to join our finance team on a full-time, on-site basis. This role will primarily focus on supporting HR-related duties, while also providing assistance with routine accounting functions to help support the finance team.

 

Responsibilities:

· Maintaining electronic records and employee files

· Assisting with payroll processing

· Assisting and supporting the HR Manager with daily HR functions as called upon

· Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures

· Accounting administrative tasks assigned

· Perform accounts payable functions as needed

· Perform other duties/projects as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

· Must be bilingual (English & Spanish)

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish

· Excellent attention to detail and follow-through skills

· Ability to prioritize, accurately follow instructions, and meet deadlines

· Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities

· Works well independently and as part of a team

· Must be proactive and able to manage multiple tasks at once

· Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

· Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

· At least two years of experience in accounting and HR functions

· Preferred: degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.

Preferred: Experience working with payroll processing systems

 

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
