Data Science Analyst/Engineer (Internship Job Description)

We are seeking a Data Science / Engineer Intern to join our Data team. The ideal candidate is curious, analytical, and eager to gain real-world experience in business intelligence and customer analytics.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or equivalent degree 
  • Strong interest in data analysis, business intelligence, and/or customer insights 
  • Basic experience with Excel and SQL (knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, or Python is a plus). 
  • Experience with Python or R is highly desired 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail. 
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment. 
  • Eager to learn and develop skills in real-world business analytics applications.
  • Knowledge of Scrum and Agile methodology
  • Excellent communication skills

 

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of dashboards and reports using tools like Excel, SQL, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Help track and measure marketing and customer data through impactful insights.
  • Work with senior analysts to organize and interpret customer data from various platforms (e.g., Oracle, Snowflake, AWS Redshift).
  • Participate in team meetings and strategy discussions, gaining exposure to real-world business intelligence projects.
  • Learn about data governance best practices and assist in maintaining accurate data records.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-related projects and ad hoc analysis.
