Job Description:
- Learn our agency management system
- Develop basic knowledge of the insurance industry and agency operations
- Shadow members of the service and sales team.
- Learn about the carriers that we partner with.
- Learn how to review contracts and tailor policies around specific legal requirements.
- Accompany Producers on renewal meetings.
- Understand key insurance coverages and how to apply them to specific client opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Enrolled in an undergraduate/graduate program. Preferred areas of study includes; Risk Management & Insurance, Business Management, Marketing, Communications, Accounting, Mathematics, and more.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to prioritize effectively.
- Strong Verbal and Written communication skills
- Willingness and motivation to learn the insurance industry
