Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a CNC Mechanical Engineer at Micro Gauge, Inc. in Brighton, MI. The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day tasks related to product launches, coordinating cross-functional teams, ensuring quality control, and optimizing manufacturing processes to meet project timelines.
Qualifications
- Project Management, Engineering Design, and Manufacturing Process Optimization skills
- Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams and managing product launches
- Quality Control and Supply Chain Management skills
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- Previous experience in the industrial manufacturing sector is a plus
Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is required.
- Proven experience in mechanical design and engineering principles.
- Familiarity with robot programming and automation technologies is a plus.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
- Experience with ISO 9001 standards and quality management practices is preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills with a focus on detail-oriented problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
