Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a  CNC Mechanical Engineer at Micro Gauge, Inc. in Brighton, MI. The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day tasks related to product launches, coordinating cross-functional teams, ensuring quality control, and optimizing manufacturing processes to meet project timelines.

Qualifications

• Project Management, Engineering Design, and Manufacturing Process Optimization skills
• Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams and managing product launches
• Quality Control and Supply Chain Management skills
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• Previous experience in the industrial manufacturing sector is a plus

Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is required.
• Proven experience in mechanical design and engineering principles.
• Familiarity with robot programming and automation technologies is a plus.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
• Experience with ISO 9001 standards and quality management practices is preferred.
• Excellent analytical skills with a focus on detail-oriented problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
