Eligibility criteria:

  • Must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program with a graduation date in 2026 or 2027.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
  • 10-week commitment for 40 hours per week with availability to start June 9th, 2025.
  • Must be able to commute to the office to work at least 3 days onsite.

 

Position Summary:

As a Cloud Planning & Business Development Intern, you’ll play a key role in identifying new opportunities, analyzing industry trends, and supporting growth initiatives. You'll conduct research on markets, competitors, and customer needs to help shape data-driven business strategies. Working closely with our sales and strategy teams, you'll gain hands-on experience in lead generation, partnership development, and market positioning. This internship is perfect for someone who enjoys problem-solving, data analysis, and uncovering insights that drive business success. Market Research Responsibilities:

  • Conduct extensive research to understand the target industries, identify potential clients, and gather insights on their business needs, challenges, and goals.
  • Create detailed profiles of existing and prospective clientele, including their industry sector, size, location, products/services offered, and key decision-makers.
  • Build Lead Databases; utilize various tools and techniques to generate high-quality leads facilitate future outreach efforts. 
  • Assist in planning and promoting industry events and network with peers to uncover lead opportunities. 
  • Maintain a comprehensive list of qualified leads and regularly update it to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape to stay informed about emerging trends, new entrants, and changes in market dynamics.
  • Analyze competitors' strategies, strengths, weaknesses, and pricing models to inform your own approach. 
  • Share insights with the sales and marketing teams to help them develop more effective messaging and positioning.

Sales Support Responsibilities:

  • Prepare Sales Decks, Brochures, and Customized Pitch Material
  • Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to create compelling sales collateral that resonates with potential clients. 
  • Tailor pitches and presentations to address specific pain points and needs identified during the research phase. 
  • Coordinate schedules and arrange meetings between sales representatives and potential clients. 
  • Follow up promptly after each meeting to thank attendees, recap key takeaways, and address any outstanding questions or concerns. 
  • Ensure that all prospect and client interactions are accurately recorded in the company's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Update contact information, notes, and statuses regularly to maintain a complete and up-to-date view of the sales pipeline.

Qualifications:

  • Fluency in English-US language (written and verbal)
  • Pursuing bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Management, or equivalent.
  • Experience with tools like LinkedIn, Zoom, Skype, Adobe Creative, MS Office
  • Basic knowledge and/or understanding of cloud technologies and IT services
  • Critical thinking and research skills, initiative driven, self-starter.
