
EVENT Design Assistant/ INTERNSHIP
Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Design Assistant to support the owner in managing day-to-day operations. This role involves administrative duties, event coordination, and shop organization, ensuring smooth operations for our event design business.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the owner with daily tasks and projects
- Help book events and communicate with clients
- Prepare for upcoming events, ensuring all details are in place
- Coordinate and maintain the business calendar
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries as needed
- Keep the shop and workspace organized and efficient
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to follow directions and work independently when needed
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Calendar, or other scheduling tools (preferred)
- Experience in event planning or administrative work is a plus
Requirements:
- Reliable transportation
- Availability for 5-10 hours per week
- Willingness to adapt and assist with various tasks as needed
