EVENT Design Assistant/ INTERNSHIP

Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Design Assistant to support the owner in managing day-to-day operations. This role involves administrative duties, event coordination, and shop organization, ensuring smooth operations for our event design business.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the owner with daily tasks and projects
  • Help book events and communicate with clients
  • Prepare for upcoming events, ensuring all details are in place
  • Coordinate and maintain the business calendar
  • Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries as needed
  • Keep the shop and workspace organized and efficient

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to follow directions and work independently when needed
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Calendar, or other scheduling tools (preferred)
  • Experience in event planning or administrative work is a plus

Requirements:

  • Reliable transportation
  • Availability for 5-10 hours per week
  • Willingness to adapt and assist with various tasks as needed
