Audio Media Intern

Audio Media Personnel (Editorial, Pathfinder Media Group)

Location: Pathfinder Media Group (On Site, Clarksville, TN) 

Commitment: Part-time (10-15 hours per week) 

Supervisor: Media Production Manager

Overview

The Audio Media Intern will support the production, editing, and distribution of digital audio content, including podcasts, promotional materials, and other multimedia projects. This role is designed for individuals with an interest in sound engineering, media production, and digital storytelling.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist in recording and editing audio content using professional editing software (Adobe Audition, Audacity, etc.).

· Clean up background noise, enhance audio quality, and adjust sound levels for clarity.

· Collaborate with hosts, interviewees, and content creators to produce high-quality audio projects.

· Organize and manage audio files, ensuring proper documentation and version control.

· Experiment with sound effects, transitions, and music overlays to enhance audio productions.

· Assist in distributing and uploading content to podcast platforms, websites, and social media.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Pursuing a degree in Audio Engineering, Media Production, Communications, or a related field.

· Experience using audio editing software (Audacity, Adobe Audition, Pro Tools, or similar).

· Understanding of sound mixing, compression, and mastering techniques.

· Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

· Passion for digital storytelling, podcasts, and creative media.
