Student Intern (Finance)

The Modesto Irrigation District is currently recruiting to fill one part-time temporary hourly-intermittent Student Intern, up to 40 hours per week for the summer, in the Planning & Pricing Department, Finance Division. Student Interns can expect to work in a variety of special projects during the term of his/her internship.

Examples of Duties:

 

Potential projects during the internship include researching and analyzing regulatory pricing proposals. Working with data and financial reports to create concise written summaries.  In addition, the intern may work on various projects within the area of financial planning and analysis.

Typical Qualifications:

 

Typical qualifications may include:

  • Enrolled in a four year college or university. Preference will be given to upper class applicants or recent college graduates planning to attend graduate school.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Ability to work cooperatively with others.

Qualified applicants must submit a completed District application to be received no later than Friday, April 4, 2025.
