Store Manager for Upscale Doggy Daycare

Description : Hiring a Daycare & Boarding Manager (in training 30-60 days) to oversee operations in daycare, boarding and some bathing! Prefer 2 years of previous experience working professionally with dogs but will train the right candidate! Must have 2 years leading a team of 10+. We are a dog daycare and lodging facility so it's necessary the candidate possess the skill of reading dog body language in an off leash daycare setting as we do a lot of group play at our facility. We will train but a foundation of dog behavior and body language is essential. The Manager will oversee the the work flow of staff responsibilities in all departments, and lead team to successfully taking excellent care of the pets we are entrusted.
Compensation: $48,500-55k based on previous experience, 2 weeks paid vacation, medical and dental benefits plus discounts on retail and free daycare and lodging when we are not full.
Hours and Schedule: 45-50 hours weekly Monday - Friday 7am to 7pm. Weekends, Hours may vary.

City Paws Pet Club has an opening for an energetic, organized, business-minded individual to lead our team as Head Manager. This is a role for someone with management, operations, and sales experience who understands hard work, how to deliver and train others to provide top customer service, and ensure a great environment for the dogs in our care.

Team Management
- Assist in creating staff schedules and helps monitor daily schedules

- Maintain and update cleaning schedule, along with holding themselves and team accountable.
- Inventory management of cleaning, dog and 1st aid supplies
- Dismisses dogs proactively with ongoing behavior issues and monitors action plans to retain those with minor issues.
- Properly handle all dog injuries with corresponding documentation and pet parent communication
Financial and Administrative
- Maintain and utilize reporting to drive sales and service
- Utilizing training opportunities for the team such as dog injuries, billing issues, or customer complaints
- Actively communicates team developmental needs and issues to management to ensure growth
- Develops team in using dog evaluations to grow revenue.
- Communicates any concerns or needs to Management or Owner proactively and partnering after attempting to resolve issues
- Work with team to assure our Quality of Care sets the standards for dog care
As the Assistant Manager you are responsible to work with all customers and team members to ensure our customer experience sets the highest standards and satisfaction of our customers.

Pay: $48,500.00 - 55,000.00 per year: * Flexibility with daily scheduling is required. * On a regular basis, requires the ability to: walk; reach with hands and stand for a minimum of 6 – 8 hours; and lift and/or move 50 lbs. * On a frequent basis, requires the ability to stoop, kneel and crouch.
The Manager is an exempt-level position; hours worked per week are based on business volume and demand but may exceed 40 hours per week; weekend and holiday availability is a must.
Special consideration will be given for applicants with prior management experience.
